Hi, I would like to have a suggestion for a laser proofing printer. I would like to be able to print on 12inx18in and take up to 300gsm paper (I wish for a 350gsm). It will be use for hard copy proof and some internal flyers once in a while.

This is what I do now. But just for one banner, I have to drive there, wait on the next day to have it and go pick it up. It would be much faster using the glue in house.
The edge is not perfectly smooth. I thought I would have to put something before paint or vinyl to have a smooth surface.
I've just tried to put vinyl on a edge of 2in thick pvc foam. It does not stick very well and the finish is not smooth.
I've got a customer that want a a printed PVC foam 1in thick.
My problem is he also want the sides blue (it's just a rectangle shape). What would you suggest me to do if I want a smooth surface and have colors on those sides. I would prefer to use vinyl instead of paint because I already use...
In my area, everyone is using acrylic. If I quote polycarbonate, my price will be too high. I've installed my fair share of acrylic over 10 years and NEVER had a problem. And remember we got real winter here.
