What version do you have? I think when we had 4.95 we had to get the 3D module. I use Profilelab and it's just a selection to pick for routing. Toolbar has, hog, male, female, online vcarve, bevel, drill and some more.
I'm prob. in a small group of people, but I use Profilelab from cadlink. Been using it since the 90's. I also use Signlab so they pretty much work the same. Always seemed easy to me. Easy Vcarve setup or my favorite Beveled letters.
I may be wrong, but I think cutting master 3 will not work with fc7000. I think you need cutting master 2. I remember trying this years ago and it didn't work. Either that or make sure you have latest firmware and the right plotter is called out in the list.
I have the best luck routing color core with straight flute bits. And I always use the largest bit as well. Then if any little edge is left after routing, I hit it with a flame real fast.
Yes, I have a Graphtec FC7000. I will look for that sort option. Is that in the plotter menu? Seems like I have seen that somewhere before.
Also I think they design their text and send as outlined text so it doesn't read as a font. All the letter are their own objects. Like "o" is a compound path.
Sometimes when cutting a customer supplied Pdf, the centers of letters cut first and then the outside. When doing a long run sometimes a little skew will show up. Is there anything I can do to make it cut like regular fonts in Signlab? Or is there something I can tell the designer to do on...
Yes, been running 100% since. In our case we called the tech and did what test he asked for before sending the cap station. I don't remember it costing a ton. More cleaning after removal of the old seems to be what I remember.
Here are pics of ours. Hasn't been run today since the weekend. When we had our problem our tech said ink should aways be in there, maybe a little clear right at cap station.
Yes, they should be totally full. They both have issues. Call your dealer, they should be able to get you parts out fast. In the meantime check all fittings and pull some ink through and do not run any cleaning cycles as this will burn the head out if the ink is siphoning out. We get our Seiko...
Well for us, we called our dealer and they over night shipped the cap station. But first they had us pull the ink through the line at the print head. Once ink was flowing connect line and clean. Came back next day and line was empty showing loss of siphon. Cap station came in and they gave us a...
Had similar thing happen to our magenta. It was the capping station causing it to lose siphon. Follow the lines and it will be clear if that is the cause. Open the cover and look at the lines. Should be full of ink.
