Depends on material. If it's reflective we throw some standard parking signs. or handicap signs as Andy said. If it's a white vinyl job I have a couple files of different sizes of our company logo. I will find something that fits and throw it on real quick. Then you have a small stack of...
This. I used this method to sketch the curve of a motorcycle tank, so we could make a tank pad that covered the top where your jacket hits. And the sides where your pants go. Usually they are three piece.
This video is a little old. it features the HP L25500 but here are some things to think about.

Though I would throw this in also. Saw some posts about empty ink carts. Not actually being empty. I believe it was a roland post. And there is...
As far as the electrical is concerned. The machines are energystar certified. Energy efficient machines. The need for the 220V power is so you can run the heaters and the printer without blowing a breaker.
The wet prints was the worst issue I had. Going from a L25500 to a mimaki was not fun. Keeping the prints from touching themselves with the high ink content. (Wrap shop) While they dried. The shop did about 5 trucks a day. Trying to keep it all clean before you could load it into the...
I understand that. Just playing devils advocate back at ya. Truth is either way you could still be held liable. Especially in California where you can literally sue anybody for anything you want. There are no restrictions on what types of suits could be filed.
More like the lady bought a coffee cup(finished unistalled sign), poured the coffee(got the anchors), put the lid on bad(installed sign), poured it on someone else and is trying to blame you for not putting the lid on correctly. Sign fell down and it's your fault. I would never settle over...
That's like saying home depot would be liable for selling a sheet of plywood because the contractor took it and hung it from some clothespins from the side of his building and it fell and hit someone.
Used 25500, 26500, and now the L360. Wouldn't change from latex. Used some mimakis at a shop I worked in for a couple months. Hated every minute of it. Would never go back from my latex to anything else as of now. Had issues with the 25500 and a couple with the 26500 but for the most part...
Yea there has got to be some roller out of wack. At the very back of the platen there are a series of small black plastic pieces. All along the printing zone on the back. There might be something stuck to one or it might have popped out of the thin metal holders that connect them all together.
Sounds like the pinch rollers on top of the platen right where the media comes in. Never had roller marks from any of it but one time the media jammed. The then tech unloaded it through the rear and not all of the ink was dried. The pinch rollers got covered and just stamped the vinyl as it...

We use this style. Lay boards or large pallets if you have them accross the arms. Then set the media on top.. YOu can set them as close or as wide as you like.
Not sure if versaworks has this feature but.... in flexi you can create your one design. and then auto serialize the different numbers or letters. Create a couple different batches. Rasterize all of them together as one image. Send him that file. YOu will have to preset it up for his...
Each media should be calibrated on it's own to mach certain colors. One media will have a different white point then another media. Which will change the color of your print slightly. I would look into some color management programs. Their are colors that cause issues with this machine but...
