I seem to remember seeing an almost indentical laminator at SGIA last year. Just looked around real quick as we weren't in the market for a new one. Looked like they knew what they were doing when they made it. Just a cheap china laminator. I beleive the price was around $3000.
I think flexi got together with VW to do some programming. I don't think anyone is out to get your. If anything maybe it's a system back up or some other program pulling for information and causing flexi to crash. Something connected to all the computers. Check the task viewer and see what...
Cool idea and definetly would be a great table for some shops. Just don't see it lasting too long. Looks like IKEA made a sign table. We constantly throw aluminum and 3/4" plywood on our tables. Looks like the table wouldn't stand too much of that before wobbling back and forth.
Yea my price difference was between the 110 and 360 on the printer price. Look over some old posts on warranty issue. Basically HP would have to say the ink is what caused the need for repair which would void warranty. They are not allowed to deny warranty solely based on which inks you use...
.
If you pay more then $99 for 110 ink cartridges you are paying too much.
Ink for 360- .17 ml
Ink for 110 .24 cents a mil
40% increase. Not even close to 2x expensive. But you paid a a quarter the price for the printer. Sounds like a pretty good deal. There are always aftermarket inks.
Is it possible when you saved out the .tif you changed the dimensions? When you save out a .tif it usually asks for rasterize options. Size, dpi, etc. Maybe you hit something on this end. If you open the files together are they the same size?
The above Lassco Wizer is what we use at my shop now. .5" .75" 1" and 1.5" radius. Use them all the time on .063 and .080 aluminum never had any issues. Every once and awhile we will do magnet sets for a customer and it also works great for that. New dies are also pretty darn cheap.
Used...
THe 8600 you turn of and on and while you turn on you hold up and enter. This gets you to the menu. I would think the 7000 had the same menu for defaults.
First thing I try is a factory reset. I set all my conditions from flexi to the plotter so I don't lose anything when doing this. This solves 80% of Graphtec problems. Too much buffered in the memory usually
Don't really think this is a substrate that is meant to be cut. I would think slow passes would do the trick and a 45degree blade. You can't use a standard 60degree vinyl blade on these types of hi-intensity encapsulated materials. You need something with a larger blade on the area of the...

I saw this immediately. I thought he put spelling errors in his designs and then posted them. Maybe you could tuck in the R a little more to look less like the A.
Would be cool to see the claw marks through the rest of the design. Alot more playing around for that though.
What I believe is Ginos system is also the system we use.
We use a tier pricing system based on how much business the customer usually do with us.
1-25 signs a month gets tier pricing C. This is our biggest markup. This is walk-in customers also as well as customers we don't believe will...
He paid $10 for the ones he bought online. They failed quickly within 8 months. I can get 16oz bottles for $45 at 1ml per square inch that's 1oz for about 30sq.in. Each ones about 90sq.in. after cut and weed. 3oz for each one or so. $5.30 for each in doming liquid. Do 20 at a time and sell...
Someone pointed me towards these guys. Gave me some good ideas and easier alternatives. As you suggested he said alot of companies are using a thick laminate now and not doming. I prefer the domed look though. So he is sending me about three different rolls and some others to try for...
