    Depends on how you maintain them and printer use. If your using OEM inks they can last a few years when properly cleaned on a lightly used printer. After market inks are usually hotter and the caps need a little more attention or replacement.

    Yes Yes but you won't notice the double ink coverage during the day only at night when illuminated. (when you need the extra color saturation).

    Two printed layers. One print is on clear vinyl and the other is on translucent White vinyl.

    Printing on clear film and having it under your translucent White print will give you more color saturation at night when it's illuminated while keeping the print the correct color during the day. It's an extra step and cost more but looks nice. The cheap way out is to do an overprint/double ink...

    Sure, I drained and bottled the leftover cleaning fluid from the cartridges after my new printer/head cleaning cycle when I first purchased my Roland and it lasted for years. Small bottles of cleaning fluid should be available from your supplier. Roland offers them so I imagine Mutoh does also.
