Have a customer that paints planes for the military and corporate (think fedex). Their preferred material is actually frosted etch vinyl. I have used paint mask for them to try many times but they just seem to be in love with the frosted stuff. The rest of the world is fine with paint mask, lol...

I am. As well as a great deal of other things. Full service shop from bus cards to electric signs and screen printing. I am one of those old farts who got dumped on by Avery years ago to the tune of tens of thousands $$. I wouldn't use anything from them for any reason.
  13. What do you wish you would have known when you first started screen printing?

I have been in the office two days in two weeks due to screen printing volume. All textile. Making good $$. I may just pull the trigger on a used semi auto for textiles and get the squeegee out of my old arthritic hands, lol.

    You lost me at Avery
  15. Can anyone produce road signs?

In the past I had a barricade company that supplied 48x48 reflective coated blanks and I screen printed the necessary sign onto them, uneven pavement, road work ahead, etc. The font had to conform to standard but I used multipurpose black ink. Lots of it. Had several hundred drying once and had...
