Do you intend to scree print or use heat press and plotter film? Or both?

Question isn't can it be maintained but HAS it been maintained. It is most likely nearing the end of service life. Not that it can't go further so much but rather is it more expensive to keep going or get a newer model and most likely upgrade computer and software.

My experience was the magenta ink was the problem. Once I switched to nazdar inkset instead of oem problem solved itself. May not be your issue but it was mine.

Exactly, offer to pay the difference to step it up to cast so you're not here again in 12 months losing a customer.

I use eagle one car wash for oxidation with a LOT of elbow grease then alcohol wipe prior to application. Eagle one works very well. Get it from Napa.

Nazdar is a safe bet for ink. Their inkset in my printer years ago actually cleared up problems caused by oem inkset. Ran it for years.

Been a screen printer 35 years now. When you tell me you want one item screened I tell you no and move on. One offs are exactly what vinyl graphics are good for. Unless of course your one item is four color process, then you get a pretty digital print.

I can't tell you personally about summa but my experience with graphtec has been positive for many years. I can tell you that all the people I know who have a summa cutter love them as well. I would guess that either will serve you well in my humble little teenie tiny opinion.
