  1. Need Help Having a heck of a time matching this one

Is it a Letterhead font? I think it is.
  2. Font or hand-designed?

I could almost swear it was a Billy Argel font, but I can't seem to find it. Stackyard is pretty close.
  3. S30670 Carriage Hardware/Damper Question

To depressurize and flush the lines you need the tech software. Otherwise you're gonna get ink everywhere. Should be a simple enough fix (1-2 hr) if you have a local tech.
  4. Fluro Color Printing onto white media

With an printer with white ink option you can just print the decals onto the appropriately colored (flourescent) wrapping vinyl and end up with a product just like these.
  5. Program Installation "C" or "E"? - Performance Question

Install everything on the C drive, but don't use it for anything else. After you install your programs, set your scratch disks to use E first, then C. Store all your files on a network drive (backed up). Run CCleaner drive cleanup software weekly.
  6. Need Help "Service Mode Protected".

You're doing it wrong. Keep trying the pattern/combo until you get in.
  7. Printing on reflective vinyl with non-transparent foil. Yes? No? Maybe?

You can print any foil onto any vinyl that will run through it. Some foils are semi-translucent an will allow reflectivity and others wont.
  8. A bit odd

I've ordered a LOT of rolls of vinyl and seen some weird things, but I got two different rolls in yesterday/today that got me worried. These are supposedly brand new rolls of 3M vinyl. They came in from the cowboy, fwiw. One is a fresh roll of 4 that has a "hand-cut" leading edge. EVERY roll I...
  9. Magnetic Business Cards - is there a cutter?

You can make them with a Gerber Edge, but then you're limited on colors and quality, but otherwise they're cheap enough to just sub out to someone who does them all day.
  10. Just In Pretty Sweet Website for quick Wrap Quoting

I think the PVO one is great, and you should already have a subscription to that, so no extra cost.
  11. Last minute change on frosted install has me panicked - please advise!

Switch your material to the MacTac B-Free version. It'll be a life saver in this case. Do you even have a wide format plotter that can track a cut that straight for 25ft?
  12. Vinyl by the yard

It has caused issues in the past where a customer wants one seamless piece and you tell it to cut one at 25 ft and it runs out on a fresh 10yd roll... Or you print almost a whole roll of material, except like 10ft, and then web up a fresh roll on the laminator and run out of laminate on the last...

  14. Question How to save art for vehicle wraps?

Always, always use the flip every other panel option.
  15. Vinyl by the yard

It seems to happen a LOT even with major brands like 3M.
  16. EPSON S50610 Pausing during printing

I think it is network traffic, but I still have not pinpointed it here either. Mostly it happens around when people are on lunch streaming netflix, etc. Fortunately it doesn't happen that much. You may also have a computer with a virus somewhere on your network that you don't know about.
  17. Opinions for new laminator needed - interested in one with take-up...

As mentioned above, seriously look into the GFP 563th. We use the heck out of ours and have had no issues. A couple of us here like to use the top heat function and a couple never use it, I think it gets rid of the silvering that you sometimes see. We have run thousands of rolls through ours; if...
  18. Ving 60" Economical Full - auto Low Temp Wide Format Cold Laminato

Get a GFP 563th. Just taught a new guy how to run ours yesterday; within 2 hours he was running it 100% on his own. He has already ran 10+ full rolls through it.
  19. Question How to save art for vehicle wraps?

I let the RIP do the tiling unless it is a pickup truck (bedsides) or the customer requests a seamless wrap. Flattened CMYK TIFF files are what RIPs like best for prints.
  20. After cutting, reset blade to left position

Push it with your hand? Use the arrow keys to move it?
