That commission idea is the only way to go in my opinion... web development is not something appropriate to stay in the middle on when the developer is a reputable professional... to get a commission for a referral is a great way to justify the less typical avenue of just handing over a client...

I'd really like to see this thread discuss the business of negotiating the sale & closing the sale too... we all talk about designs every day here, but we ALL face some of the same other challenges too.. and i'd like to see various different ways we all deal with that.. for me, I plan to charge...

did you scuplt that yourself? Pat is right about it driving traffic to your website, so I think it's time you seriously proof read the site and fix the dozens or errors glaring out from every page.... just sayin'
