Yes, they are doing what millennials call "being disruptors". It's their darling new business model. Take an established industry and "disrupt" it. That basically means try to suck away all the business by using the internet to undersell everyone else, in this case by reselling a product from a...
The Onyx print/cut workflow is pretty simple. When you design your file you use an appropriately named spot color (CutContour) to define the cutlines. When you import the file into Onyx you use a Quick Set that includes cutting. When you RIP the file you make sure you have the correct cutter...
My first thought was head strikes too, but when you look closer at the pictures, the regular sawtooth pattern at the edges of the printed stripes does not look like head strike. It looks like some kind of signal degradation, i.e. "static" in old radio terms. So either a problem with spurious...
I found a much bigger image of that logo, very clear, but Find My Font didn't find it. Whoever does FMF might consider adding the font to the database.
The way you need to look at it is in terms of: if I had twice the business and had to hire someone, am I making enough money that I could pay them to do exactly the same thing I am doing? And would I be able to buy the equipment they would need to do the work? If the answer is no, then you...
You can cut lettering out of DPF8000 just fine. When we have done interior wall lettering with it we have not laminated it. You don't want the thickness, and UV exposure isn't a problem. This is a job we did with that in a high school library.
So they are not selling the letters at the retail price? Are they really Gemini letters? Do they come with the Gemini warranty postcard in a Gemini printed box?

Doming involves pouring (dripping) a resin onto a decal, creating a clear, thick dome (flat-topped) of the resin on the decal. Surface tension keeps it from running off...
Shadow Black Mica is a paint color, and because of the mica flakes is apparently even hard for body shops to match as a paint color. I doubt there is any vinyl which would be that color.
Melted the vinyl with its solvents. Probably overapplied. Also, the vinyl is trimmed so that the edge is curled up onto the bottom of the rubrail. It needs to be trimmed so it is flat on the fiberglass. And the edge sealer needs to go just on the fiberglass and the edge of the vinyl, not an inch...
Perhaps when you use the shape tool rather than the pick tool, it moves the letters by fractions of the line height, which would vary according to font size.
That's odd. We almost never meet with the boat name customers. We talk to them on the phone and email them but we go out to photograph and measure the boat, and then install the name without their being here. Boat names can make you good money.
