I would not recommend renting behind his. Mainly because the first shop they see is the one in front, very few will bypass it to go around the back. Also he can tell all his customers bad things about you, and it's legal to put up signs against your business on his property. Just not worth the...
I had a customer who wanted an estimated on a Ford Cube truck (Box truck). I gave an estimate and he replied by email and said.
"Thanks, That looks good. If we go with a new truck I'll definitely call you."

Both blades on the skill saw and jig saw are width and thick, so thinking that wouldn't work as they are wood/metal blades.
So I guess scoring would work. I have a big blue ruler that is 8 foot long, so I have a good straight edge to use.
Thanks everyone.
I have 1/8" Acrylic and need to know the best way to cut it without breaking it.
At first I thought a skill saw, but I believe that will knock chunks out, and also have a jig saw but not sure about that one either.
What do you use?
What kind of sign estimating software are you using? I see prices range from $249 up to $360. But also some of them are a monthly cost such as $39 a month.
I don't like the ones built in Microsoft Excel, I prefer an actual program as it's not as cheaply made.
Any tips on what I should use?
I own a commercial vinyl sign company in Charlottesville Virginia.
If anyone is over this way, stop by and check out the place.
I've been making signs for 3 years (between this business and my last shop)
