    Thermal and Inkjet are two different animals. If I were you, I'd take a hard look at the Edge setup or the Summa DC4sx. Solvent inkjets need more TLC plus you'll have the additional cost of a laminator.

    Many Gerber Plotters are true Tangential.

    True tangential picks up the blade and rotates it from inside the carriage assembly. Tangential emulation will pick up the swivel blade and put it back down without rotating it in the head because there is no mechanism to do that. It helps improve corner quality when cutting thick material...
