I have kinda suspended my search for a XC-540 the used ones have a million miles on them and with the economy faltering and the crazy season (elections) coming on for the next year- don't want to buy new. Will any other brand cutter read the Roland reg marks? It appears that the GXpro will...

  4. Tony please- GspColorWell.ocx problem

I am installing Omega 2.5 on a different XP puter and it is fighting me. I loaded Omega OK but when I try to open it - it sez that file is missing and to reload, which I have done repeatedly. No joy. I can still hook up the old puter so I don't have a crisis situation. Thanks Gene

  6. The thread with a programmable roadside warning sign?

This summer (I think) someone posted a site where you could enter your own lettering on different sign pictures- a road side flashing warning sign and maybe a billboard? I have searched but the terms are so vague that I cannot find what I seek. Sound familiar to anyone? Thanks Gene PS- I...
  7. Using metal shear to cut dibond and maxmetal

  9. What are your pet peeves

I LOVE this. If you let other people annoy you- you are the loser of the exchange- it does not matter to them.
  10. Dun & Bradstreet scam

Got an email from D&B telling me that my credit score has changed. I pay everything with a CCard (mucho air miles ) and do not buy anything on credit so I was not much concerned. It just seemed like a scam- they were recommending their 'SelfMonitor™' service so I did a quick google...

  16. Roland heads- how many shot are they good for?

I have been looking at and for a XC-540 and they mostly have a ton of shots on the heads... 8-10 billion common. These are production machines of course and get run hard. They also look very heavy duty compared to my VP- made to run a long time I would think. Any opinions or shared nowledge is...

I retired two years ago and cut back to 60 hours a week. It is what you make it. My dad used to say 'it's a great life if you don't weaken'- never could figure out WTH that meant.
