I'm also running SL 8 and here's what I'm talking about. You should be able to put the cursor on one of the nine boxes and click. The anchor will turn black. My SignLab easily shifts between the boxes and the anchor without any problem.

You've selected the foating anchor nub. Just click on any of the nine anchor points (boxes) located next to the XY position windows. Once you click on any one of the boxes, your anchor will turn black an disappear from the selected item on the main screen.
Does this make sense?

FastTrac Growth Venture: Week 4
Operations…”Why do we do things THAT way?”
Fortunately, our instructor didn’t give us any homework this week as we’re still trying to tie up loose ends from our previous assignments related to financial matters, our marketing plans and our competitive...
We're talking two things here.
For lettering, dates and flourishes, etc...that are sandcarved, you would use regular vector artwork. The same applies for line-art images that also get sandblasted. Those images are cut into sandblast stencil on a plotter. Fine detailed sandblasted images...
I do sandblasting monument work and have a working knowledge of how hand and laser etching is done. Please send me a PM about the details of your project.

Other CDs in the bunch were some older Adobe software, and misc print shop...
I have appointments to "interview" two accountants next week, and will make the decision which one will suit our business the best. They both utilize Quick Books and can get us set up to where we can do the daily entries on our own, and then turn the files over to them for the final...
QB has a 60 day money back guarantee.
I'll give it a week or two, but in the back of my mind, I think I might be headed back to Staples.
I've only had it installed three hours and I'm already overwhelmed by the pop ups that keep trying to sell me one thing or another....enough...
I've resolved to change over to a computerized accounting system and I'm wondering how easy it was for any of you to make the switch to Quick Books?
I'm having a difficult time customizing my forms & invoices with my logo to the correct size. Am I missing something or don't they let you...
Lots of cool designs.
Our business card is part of a 4 x 8 debossed pocket folder brouchure that also contains a photo of what we do.
I used to own a hot foil stamping business but now use the press for making my own marketing materials.
After seeing these designs, it looks like I'll...
"Old school" implies a sense of obsolescence. How do figure that L X W has now become obsolete? It will still be the basis for any ap.
Kinda like like the law of gravity...it doesn't change...no matter how technology changes.
