Hey Mat, Check under the top lid. Last year I had a similar problem with the wiring harness rubbing on the inside when trying to cut larger graphics, It had worn right thru exposing one of the wires.

Ive been using a master 24" for about two years now, And the only problem ive had was the wiring harness which was repaired locally for 20.00 Its has been a good machine for the money. Ive moved up to a roland verdacam now but i will never get rid of the master, great second plotter.

yeah i spent most of the night playing with it, it is still a mystery thou. I reinstalled a driver and changed the usb port. So it was one of those. it was probably a driver as it would only print a small portion of the sign and then shut off, but still say it was processing...

just printed a small picture 3" square, printed fine yet the status monitor on versa says 0% and my printer screen says now processing but the picture has already printed?

no nothing is running besides versaworks, and I just put in 1.5 gb of ram thinking that might help me when I do want to have other apps running,.

wow, now im printing half a sign, lol. the printer prints half then stops screen says now processing but nothing ever happens. always the night you need a sign the next morning.lol

sorry, the printer head retracts to its starting position away from vinyl. But now it wont print at all, versaworks can see the printer, rips it but it wont print. the tech that was here earlier rolled back an update and it was working fine, but im on auotmatic update and i figure it downloaded...

my roland is printing about 20% of a sign then the printer head goes away, yet screen says "now processing" have tried waiting it out and still nothing. any one have this happen? any suggestions?

Thanks Greg, I actually ended up buying the sp300v along with a Daige Quikmount 54" laminator as i ended up with more of a sq. ft. problem than i thought I had. Thanks again. Bob

thanks Barry, After calling the salesman back the machine with color rip is a demo on their floor, not a current model. they offered me 2500 off the original quote for the demo but want another 2300 to change it to a bulk ink system. Has anyone had problems with the bulk...

Im ordering the 54" versacamm and my supplier has two units with two different programs. color rip and versaworks. Is there much difference between the two? salesman says color rip is better but an older program. I'd rather hear input from professionals using these programs daily. thanks.

Thanks Guys, Thats kinda the way I was headed, just needed some advise from others in the industry as the few here really dont want another sign shop with a color printer, they wont even give me a discount on graphics now. Oh well, their lose my gain, Thanks...
