SignCraft does something like this, a sign spec sent to a few selected shops and they submit a design and cost. And hasn't that also been tried here?

Lots of ways to make it. I'd probably do a 1"x1" aluminum tube box built to whatever that depth is and skin it with .040 or .063

I wouldn't even consider intermediate. Either the best cast material or one of the vinyls made specifically for rough surfaces. But since it had vinyl for 10 years I would assume it was regular cast vinyl.

It needs a full perimeter frame and at least one middle support, welded. Then thru bolts w/washers & lexel.

that's like asking "What's a sign cost". Even the same size shop will have wildly different overhead depending on where they are.

Nope. Not a good printer for outside banners. But for that price if you have a market for interior graphics & posters I'd grab it.

Actually I have been a copywriter more than a few times for my biggest customer...they'll call up with the "problem" the sign needs to solve, describe what they're thinking about and usually say "You word it how you think it work best"...and I do. Maybe it's because I had a lot of Marketing...

Or could you print on glass and have them silvered afterwards?

I pick the best and most profitable option, if doing in-house means more work, (maybe with a less appropriate material) at less profit I outsource.

Did you test your idea of applying over transfer tape? I'm skeptical of it working. If its a simple shape they should be able to apply the graphic themselves.
