Being in MN I have been doing quite a few snowmobile (snowmachine) skinz. I get very frustrated trying to devise a plan to hold the smaller pieces like a hood panel, etc... with a bucket or just on my bench. The parts are sometimes only about 3' x 2'. Does anyone know of a company that sells...
Mutoh 1614. Eco inks. Avery MPI 1005ez. Printed over 20 rolls of this stuff and all of a sudden I notice fish eyes. Every color. Tried a different material and same thing. Any clues?
Here is mine. Phantom Sypder. I have had motorcycles since 1984 but love this more than any of the 2 wheeled versions. Absolutely rocks and the technology in them is unreal. ALL black is the only way. This is on one of my long mile trips. Normally the windshield is only 4" tall and no...
I have a working relationship with this company in my town. So far I have done 18 trailers over the last year. I do them alone. These pictures are from the corrugated units I am doing now. THEY SUCK! Period. Only one more to go of these and then 7 "normal" trailers afterwards. That will...
Okay. Return customer with the NDSU Bison bus. Interior is being customized. Now he requested I skin the ceiling of the bus. I used a test piece and it stuck great. My question is how the hell to install it? My thoughts are to start at one end and only roll out 3-4' at a time and tape the...
Customer wanted their logo with the frosty lettering. I don't like doing the standard because it seems like all the refrigeration companies use it, but.... I had to give in. :banghead: The outcome I am happy with however since I was only allowed to use "cold" colors. Tough to design.
I read a lot about putting the lube on the rail and making sure it is done monthly. The tech that set up my 1614 and told me to be very careful while lubing. SO.... I am paranoid and haven't done it. Could someone please post a picture showing where to apply and where not too? Thanks.
Finished this one up this weekend. 19 hours to install alone. Meeting with the client on Monday to discuss the other 60 trailers they have. Hope things go well. I have a contract now for 12 trailers, but they like this one so well I may do all 60. This website has been very informative since...
So I am wondering about how you all have been doing the billing on certain wraps. The HHR attached is a wrap, but obviously is cut to the edge of the fruit. Would you charge for the square footage by the amount of vinyl that comes off your roll or just what is placed on the vehicle?
So this am I discover my heater in the shop died that houses my Mutoh printer. Some water bottles in the shop froze but the spare inks I have laying around did not. The printer however is saying low inks and post heater errors. I shut it down and the heater is now heating back up the shop...
I have still decided the area on the passenger door where the fender flare curves down (purple grapes area) is a real pain in the a**. I would love to actually see someone install that area so I could learn.
Also.... what is everyone using to put clear over the perf? I am using Clearvue.:thankyou:
I have done two installs now on the HHR. I get frustrated and really need some advice. The area where the rear fender flare meets the body is of course an issue.
Two different ideas I have tried.
1. Start from the top and work to the bottom. When getting to the area I speak of I have...
Soooooo...... I am really sick of having to unroll the backing paper from the roller after laminating to discard. What technique does everyone else use? Pain in the a** re-rolling 150' of backing paper. :banghead:
I hesitate posting unfinished designs but....
Each side has subtle changes like the icicles hanging from the top of the side on one and not on the other.
Be nice to me... I am sensitive.:loveya:
