what if that was the art supplied by the client, would you do it? or pass it on so you never had to look at it again?
if for instance the son designed it and the family business wanted to use it.... the next person to look at it, wont know that the sign shop didn't design it

dont know if this will help, but i had the same sorta thing in versaworks...
had to change colour management raster setting to perceptual (check spelling)

never done one myself... but would suction cups, like the ones on mobile phone holders that go on the windscreen work? make a bench top with holes and attach rope to the ends of the suction cups and tie under the bench?
its still doing the same thing even after i changed the profiles...
have i missed something?...
1. open x5
2.new page 300dpi cmyk
3.import jpeg
4.save as eps with cutcontour
vw opens and its darker than in x5
ive tried changing jpeg output to cmyk...no differance
ive tried saving as...
yep it comes up darker in VW and prints how it looks on screen in VW aswell...
i tried rgb, same thing, i played with the photo to make it lighter that worked, but it has me confused as to why....
no matter what file or setting i export this picture, it comes up darker in versaworks,
its a photo, imported into x5 , published to pdf, ive tried tiff,eps and jpeg, they all come up the same...darker in versaworks
any ideas...
Lol mosh, i got an emseal 2r 1650... im not sayin im a sign shop..and im lovin every bit...i drove trucks for to long and hated every minute of it...i spend 12-14 hours a day doin this and yes there are some tring times, but im havin fun and learning every day!

ive been doing vinyl cutting for 2 years and contracting out my digital stuff, seems that every job i got back , there was a problem...i could see only one way to fix that, take full responsibility for everything printed.....
i ve had no experience operating a digital machine, this is a huge...
