Why would the cutcontour line get printed? im using x5 and its fine there, when it goes to versaworks, the ants are there...' it prints and cuts great, but at closer look its printed the cut contour line? this is the second day of ownership on the sp540v, i have done loads of contract out...

so why would it print the cutcontour line? even if the marching ants are there it shouldnt print the cutcontour line?

windex, glass cleaner, then prepsol. yep cut the 1/4" , i belive i have done everything right, no differant to the other jobs and they are all great still.

window perf keeps lifting on edges.... i had it printed and laminated by a well know sign place that does heaps of my work, no probs until this one.. i installed dry. cut around edges and used a 6mm pin stripe to seal it, but the corners keep lifting any suggestions...

some great options there guys, i have been subbing my digital work out, and lately having a few hassles with the output from both owner and quality of work, i think if i had my own , i could be 100% responsible for my own work. true i don't know allot about digital machines, and i don't have...

i know everyone will have a different idea on new vs second hand, id like to here your opinion i understand all the benefits of new...but with up to $4-8000 differance is this an option with a low budget? what should i look for in a second hand vs540?

thanks heaps guys, i think for the space issue i will go the all in one, then later down the track get a separate machine. now im stuck on new or used, with the price difference and a small tite budget not sure which way to go.

there doesn't seem to be much price difference in the vs540 and rs 540, but a stand alone optical cutter is around $5000, that goes right over my budget, so i think i have more homework to do...lol... i plan on targeting perf work, it seems to be popular around here. dam 6 buses..one could...

Gday Guys, doing some research on a new addition, i think the roland 540 is what i want, but talking to others, not all are happy with the all in one machine, as far as production goes. is it true that you should wait a few hours at least before contour cutting?

thanks all, i dont have a digital machine i send all my work out , this job was for a kedar or rope track banner, did it half size and they re-sized it at there end...wish they did that to start with...lol

i had a look at a program called GLARY just googled it and it has a free memory cleanling tag, i installed it and it works great and free... BTW i have nothing to do with is at all...just helping with the same problem i had with my computer and this fixed it
