  1. Spray Paint Artist

Did you see his link for the 39 second painting?
  2. Then there's snow.................

Windswept snow banks actually stand at crisp, right angles?
  3. Now that's what I call pouring a beer!!

I agree that the magnet concept might need a little tweaking, but...(hello)...look at the the advertising potential. This is right up the alley for some of us. I would imagine those cups to be quite pricey compared to regular beer cups, but when they're subsidized by advertising dollars...
  4. Guillotine cutter

I was referring to a guillotene cutter. I've seen hydraulic models at the print shop and they can slice through a full ream in less than a second.
  5. Guillotine cutter

Look at a ream of paper and you'll see slight "swirl" marks from the blade. The knife cuts into the paper on a small arc...sorta like if you took one swipe at a loaf of bread in one felled swoop. Those kinds of cutters are absolutely fantastic. I've had 2-inch thick books "unbound" this...
  6. Handyman taking sign work away?

Jill- Gotta love those Sunoco stickers on the side! On another note....I used to scoff at these guys, but then one day I got to thinking that these guys are actually out there DOING work...sometimes hard, crappy, menial work...instead of standing in a welfare line looking for a handout...
  7. Mounting a HDU sign with galvanized.....

How well does the galvanized hold up? Does it rust on the ends (from using snips to cut it to length)?
  8. Font ID -_-

    Big ditto on Raphael....
  9. The True Meaning of Dogsledding

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Syl2gERKh5A Don't forget this one too..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSrirDNwEVM&NR=1&feature=fvwp
  10. Adobe CS5 ?

CS5 just came out in April, so I would't expect a recent upgrade either. I upgraded from CS3 to CS5 and saw a ton of cool changes. I just use the standard version of Illustrator. For those of you using CS2, now is the time to upgrade. Once CS6 comes out, you won't be able to uprade.
  11. Photoshop is getting me PO'd

Here's a wild guess: Is it possible that you may have had one duplicate image atop the first image? When using the eraser, you would be erasing the first image, but the next image would show through and appear to make the eraser tool non-functional.
  12. After further review .......

    Did somebody say cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese?
  13. I was that guy

Ah yes, the school of hard knocks...where the tests come before the lessons and the price of tuition is a lot of sweat and a little bit of blood now and again. Given today's job market scene, it may perhaps be the best bargain out there. I went through the bureaucracy of trying to get...
  14. Large format Cricut??

And to think that I was only joking....
  15. Bath Salt? The new drug?

I bet it won't be long before people are freebasing CMYK.
  16. Laser Engraving and Cutting.

Specifically, what products and services do you plan to offer?
  17. What font is Polaris using in their logo?

Nice straight lines, simple radii on corners...I'd say trace it for 100% accuracy.
  18. customer did not spell check his proof

I do stone work, and I require the customer to sign off on an artwork approval sheet like GG's. The sheet includes a rendering of the work to be done, so there's absolutely no question as to what they are responsible for.
