My suggestion to you is to get a hold of a Big Sqeegee. Since you are still learning about vinyl this will greatly help your masking and application. it really does eliminate bubbles and is faster once you get the hang of it...
You didn't mention if you checked the IP Address of the printer. It might still be set to the previous owners address. I know when I set my IP address it when back to the old IP, it took me a half hour to figure out what had happened. Hasn't done it since. That would explain your connection...
Graphtec 5000. I just bought one, I also have the ce3000 (the previous version) its about 5 years old and never needed any repairs to it. It is a real workhorse.
Thanks Bly, that was the problem. For some reason when I plugged it back in it went back to its old IP Address.
Goes to show you the simplest solution is often the right one.

My computer is not finding my Designjet 5000 printer. I've tried connecting it trough a network and direct to the computer and it still does not see it.
The printer displays shows that the cards is install correctly. I have a Jetdirect 610N card.

Wow, this is the first time this happened to me. I have a font finder software with over 10,000 fonts and it did not show any results.
