My supplier recommended 180, 1080/2080 for all the cut vinyl. The 180 seems a little thin and prone to tearing. I was also worried that air release material might not bond well enough to the propane tankers.
Overall, we're trying to make everything 2080 even if it's overkill in most...
Upfront...my customer is only interested in us using 3M materials for their applications. I've asked my suppliers and am using what they recommend but I'd like to here what the users have to say.
What 3M digital and non-digital/cut vinyl would you recommend for the best and longest lasting...
No sorry, I didn't give enough info. We have 2 eco solvent printers and we film laminate. I was just stating that dry time as a quite a hold up for us. I'd imagine Latex or UV has no dry time involved.
Is there are reason for printing at high quality? We have an xr 640 and eco sol max 2 as well and even at 720/720, it can lay a lot of ink down especially with black. It is our go to printer for higher quality prints but we've never had to use high quality. Also, what is the humitity in your...
Aurora graphics' torn metal is kind of generic. I created my own a while back, in photoshop and I recall that it wasn't really that difficult. A few you tube videos on creating a metallic or chrome look. There are "styles" that help out with some of that. If I had to do it again, I'd probably do...
We're looking at investing in some of the companies that have taken the hardest hits but will definitely be bailed out if needed and will more than likely gain significantly once this clears up.
And now it's happening again!! Switched to Avery 950 and now after 6 months these gas tankers are doing it again. Avery's response is that it is required you apply edge sealer to graphics on a stainless or painted stainless steel tank. So now my customer wants me to switch to 3M. Not sure if...
Check this out...https://www.signs.org/essential-business
One bullet point that caught my attention was "Contact your local public health officials to let them know how your business has a safety plan in place and is serving “essential businesses.”
Also check with your local law enforcement to...
Wisconsin here as well.
Haven't found any clarification as to what we can and can't do except for "stay home". Like a lot of us, I work from home and I have a few jobs lined up for small businesses that work out of their home as well as "out in the middle of nowhere". The business is there and...
It's going to be race season here soon and I usually avoid it like the plague (no pun intended). Too much sponsorship crap. I'm thinking it may be a good side project if it doesn't get shut down entirely and if we're slow. Guy just picked up his stuff he ordered a couple weeks back and paid...
I have 12" formed plastic letters to mount on a horizontal corrugated metal building (sorry, my phone died that day and I don't have a pic.) Corrugations are spaced 9" apart. Building is a light grey and letters are black.
The install is about a 1.5 hour drive and I really don't want to...
I usually go to their website http://www.estimatesoftware.com/support/ and open a support ticket. I received a response a couple of months ago when I switched back to the desktop version and I needed help. Up to this point, they've usually been pretty good about getting back to me.
