I am using 16 years old epilog with 100w tube. It will still cut 1/2 acrylic in one pass. software and driver is old and does not have as much control as new laser but it works for me. Mostly I do laser engraving on rowmark, wood, acrylic.
Here is my cutting setup for cnc router. Thickest aluminum I am usually cutting is 0.5 5052.
Spindle water cooled 3kw.
Endmill single flute O flute. 110ipm 24000rmp
0.65-0.125 per pass depends on shape of the part.
Cold air gun ON,
dust collector ON 1" above cutting material.

Most of the stock engravable material comes in 24"x48". Easiest way to do this sign is to laser cut 1/32 white tactile and lay it to a black ultra board.
I learned a trick with my cnc some time ago.
If you cut it at right speed without dust collector on pvc shavings will stay in the kerf and hold your part from moving.
Make sure you make shaving not the dust.
30 inch/min may be too slow.
30 inch/sec = 1800 inch/min. You may want to slow down. I am using single flute .125 with PVC and my cutting speed is about 125 ipm. Very small stuff have to be tabbed or hold with double sided tape.
