I've found that it's impossible to put less than a 1pt. bevel on an edge. Anything more seems to self-intersect...bummer.
I would cut stencils out of paint mask or vinyl and spray paint them. Use your same text, leave ample border around it and weed the letters and paint. They'll last a lot longer. Case closed.
Sometimes it will throw up an error saying that it can not find the license files even after re-booting the system.
Simply open the drive (dongle) and drag and drop the license files into an open a window of SignLab and they will re-set.

Complexity of the artwork does NOT factor into the cost of the die. They strictly go by square inches of the die, and they're acid etched.

If so, they may be thermal kiss-cut. If that's the case, there's no way you can compete with them using a plotter, and they may not be low balling.

Center punch and then use a smaller drill to make a pilot hole before using the drill size you need.
Use a rotary hammer drill (SDS-spline drive) instead of a hammer drills that use a regular 3-jaw chuck. They have more power and the drills are a lot tougher.
