You could try 3m 40c with 8508 lam bundle, that's a cal print and cast lam.(7 year life they say) and comes at a good price. Ive seen zero shrinkage from the 40c jobs ive done, and it prints better than any media ive tried thru the eco solvent... as long as its just a flat panel install you...

with this error it doesn't allow me to access the menu, the machine simply freezes. I have tried the parameter menu and adjusted that one you suggested back to zero, it did nothing on the next start up. Ive also uploaded the original parameter file with no change. This is why im hoping someone...

It's an "error 181 PR sensor" and I see there's a wire in the labelled PR. So I'm thinking possibly that board got fried from residual power. All my other circuit boards have a red light illuminated except that one so it's got me thinking/wondering.

Trying to diagnose a problem with my mimaki and ive noticed every circuit board has a red light ON when the machine is powered ON, except for the little cutter slider board. Does this board usually have an illuminated red light when the machine is on?? Its one little screw to remove the cover...

3m ij180cv3-10, 8 pass profile worked the best on pretty much every media I ever ran thru my Mimaki….

As long as he has the white tape in the crop mark area it should cut fine. That's what I did with non white films . That said if your not laminating the prints I would not use crop marks and just rip it and select "cut after print" in rasterlink. Make sure you set both your outside pinch...

WOW. that is miles off! I was never satisfied with my cjv30 cutting accuracy but it was way better than that! If a tech came out and couldn't fix that accuracy I wouldn't pay them a damn cent...…….

Nope. I ended up getting a new printer! Still have the CJV30 just collecting dust right now. wouldn't mind getting it running again but no solution for this yet. Let me know if you figure it out!

Well ive had the HP Latex 315 print and cut solution up and running for 2 days now. My thoughts are the latex print quality is better than the Mimaki cjv30-130 overall. The colors may be slightly less vibrant but theres NO banding at all, it prints black a 100 times better! I did 4 banners...

I lay it flat on my table and take a perfectly square picture of it with marks on my table that include measurements, From there I open it in illustrator scale to size and trace with the pen tool, done. Faster then driving to staples to scan it.... it literally takes a couple minutes to trace...

sure it might be a little soft in that heat, so go with the 1080 by 3m it seems to stay more rigid than Avery a tad, but since its all white and not a print you don't need to worry about registration so just slap it on. easy. try and fins some shade,/ work an evening

Are these tiled with multiple pieces though? Im not worried about slight color variations from 1 job 1 week and another a month later, that's to be expected. What im worried about is printing a 40ft wall wrap or a 20ft trailer wrap where im doing say 4-10 vertical tiles and each tile at the seam...
