I am running a parallels virtual machine on my MacBook, running windows 10 to use Flexi. Works perfectly, once in a blue moon I will get a little lag when importing large files. But thats it, very happy with my setup right now.

I am using Arlon DPF 4600LX, its a very flexible calandered vinyl. You save alot of money if you aren't needing it to wrap crazy bumper contours and stuff. I love this material for most of my jobs.

Ok I am onto something here, I am performing the length calibration and it is slightly off on some materials that don't track as well. All it needs is a measurement test and adjustment. Well see if this helps my issue.

I cut 3m and Arlon car wrap material with a cast laminate. The cutting is fine, its the fine details that get affected. I am going to run a few tests cutting certain size squares and stuff then measuring the real cut. See if it changes depending on file types, or what not.

What kind of issues do you have with it? I haven't heard a whole lot of negative reviews, but out graphtec is terrible. Tracking is bad, and the registration mark sensing works maybe 1/10 times.

Hello, So we make laptop skins, we run a summa s120t and previously a graphtec ce-6000. I design the files in Adobe illustrator and either cut them with sign master 3 on the graphtec or Flexi with the summa. We have always had issues with wandering accuracy. Sometimes a skin will be spot on...

So I am confused how this works, do you load the material after cutting the vinyl, load it upside down and cut the backing with the plotter? How would it know where to do the cuts? Sorry this is new to me.

OK I found out about flexcut, and I did fix the setting that was causing the cutter to ignore values from Flexi. How do I set a file to do a contour cut and a Flexcut in one job? Do flexcut lines have to be a special color or name?
