Has anyone photographing vehicles for layout use tried running the camera/lens correction profiles in Photoshop or Lightroom. I wonder if it increases dimensional accuracy.

Test it first. We have used gatorboard for 25 years, had some ultraboard delivered ("it's the same") and the mounting failed to adhere.

We are still waiting for that upgrade as well. Our workaround has been to limit the amount of material taken up to 25 yards or so on the heavy canvas we run.

Creative Banner sells some stands just for this purpose. They can have sandbags put on the bottom brace for stability. Just used them on a job, they seemed to work well. About $15 each.

Curious to know how well the adhesive dots work. Do they need to be applied to the whole image surface to be effective? They seem to come in narrow width rolls.

Maybe try the HDPE material. Pretty tough stuff. I'd think 2 sides joined would be better.
