I love, love, love SignCraft services. Devoted to the trade... they provide quarterly, high quality magazines as well as on-line and hard-copy pricing for a variety of services. try here - http://www.signcraft.com/home.aspx I agree, $8 is a bit high (SqFt? or L/F?)
OK Im with you now. The riders that go in frames.
I have a lot of requests for name riders that go on the coro 24x18 signs. As I said, two s/s back to back, hem tape on the edges (about an inch or two in from the ends). customers take them and pull apart at the middle and slip over the corner...
good advice - and now that I think about it, you're right! If they are that cheap then they generally move on when they feel you are getting tired of being beat down on your prices!
Im for the painting idea! Not really much to know about it - just research what kind to use. Use your cutter/plotter for pouncing design onto paper - blue chalk and then paint. The nice part about this is if it doesn't turn out to your liking... just paint over it! Not a whole lot other than...
I hate these requests!! Then when they want the sandwich kind... (two boards back to back w banner hem tape at the ends) does anyone do these? or are most of your orders for d/s with rider pins?
Gladly give it to them w no "tips" for installation (marked up higher than usual, of course) - 8 times out of 10, they are back for a re-print! I get to bill it twice!
mine stopped once just at the end of a very long banner job.
Adjusted computer settings. - no screensaver - Disable hibernation, etc. Maybe this will help?
The wave pattern can be seen in certain images that I print.
This seems to happen on some media more than others (? not fully tested)
Is this head alignment?
