I have been having alot of color issues for the past two weeks - My latest issues is blue printing purple. Mutoh VJ1204, Flexi 8.1v1 Does someone have some color knowledge that can help me out here? I am considering putting the printer out on the street... then I will just get a job!!!

1204 problem I had something similar happen. Can't remember where it was coming from, but it actually melted the top portion of where you insert the tray - making it difficult to get the tray in and out. I had to remove the end piece all together, use a heat gun to soften the plastic and mold...

I had a blothy issue once and figured out that my damp shirt (from an earlier water application) had run up against the media while loading it. Clammy hands will do this too.

It is a Mutoh ValueJet 1204 (purchased from SW end of 2006) I get a 50" material (max media width in will take) and I send job from Flexi8.1 to the Production Manager. Set Media Width in PM to to 49.5 and Send! and it prints up to 49-1/2" image area Yes, crossover cable
