I have my ink limits dialed in perfect, but its only right when I convert a bitmap RGB to cmyk,
For some reason, if I leave it as an RGB the ink is puddled all over the vinyl. I just don't get it.
Its set for no color correction also.
I have the profile set for 3651
When I had color correction UNchecked my ink limits were more normal, but the colors were way off.
Now I have it checked and the colors are much closer.
Could be the difference in volume from the other ink being over 1/2 full and that one being near empty. You could try putting in a new cartridge.
That happened to me a while ago and it fixed the issue. But you will need to pull magenta with a syringe for a while to get it flowing again.
Ok, I cant believe this is right.
I have all colors set at 70 and black at 50
Thats the only way I can keep "printed black" from pooling or bleeding. I know the black is a combo of all the colors.
But in order to keep the black in range, now my other colors seem to weak.. and aren't looking...
Well. Maybe this will help someone else one day.
I opened up the side and forced the gear to move the head and it was caught on a small square rubber stopper that was put on with adhesive. There is one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right.
Please help! My Q100 cutter won't move and the y position sensor keeps coming on when I try to load the media.
I've tried everything that is obvious.
The belt wont move and the cutter head is stuck all the way to the left!
I have one too I bought from Flame last year. It runs awesome and for a used printer I could ask for more!
I also just moved and my heads were bone dry. It sat for over a month in a storage unit here in SC. I got them running like new now. Just do some searches and you will see how to do...
Iv done this before.... now, before I convert text to outlines, I always copy it and past and leave it somewhere for this reason... Looks like Bank to me
On page 77 of Fellers they have two types of pads. One is called an Arizona(much less expensive) and the other is true Mutoh brand. Just trying to figure out if either will work with the Prismjet outdoor 48" I have. I called them, but they don't seem to know.
Was it reading and cutting before? If not and this is the first time trying to use the auto sensors, you may need to go into your menu and turn the feature on. Thats what happened to me with my brand new q100 last winter. I was going crazy and the tech walked me through it.
Thanks fellas. I thought because the room was already so hot that the heat setting wouldnt matter too much. I also was keeping it way down because it helps with banding a little.
Well it is a little pillowing, but I have the black ink limit turned down to 60 and the other colors are at 70. In Flexi. Is this normal. Do I just need to turn down black more?
