I printed two 36" round logos for a customer. I am out of laminate so I just masked them and applied to windows.
They came out with TONS of large bubbles. I did it in direct sun also. I am wondering if I can get away without the laminate if I do it in the shade when it cools down in the...
I know but I want to know ahead of time if they are getting low (even before I get the warning) My M ran out without a warning today and this has also happened with my K. I pulled it out and shook it a little bit and it ran again.
Its odd because you would think the spray would have a better chance of working because you can do a light coat the first few times to "seal" it and then a last heavy one...
I have a small job that the customer wants something wrapped in clear with some graphics on it.
Can I print right onto a laminate and apply that?
Will it work for an indoor display that will not be exposed to much?
Im just trying to figure out if there is a better way to paint a double faced sign then how im doing it. By raising it up, rolling one side and the edges. Letting it dry flipping it and rolling the other side.
Any tricks of the trade for rolling a double faced sign without getting and "edge type bump" around the bottom?
I usually raide the sign up with something and run a brush under the bottom edge after coating the top and side, but I never fails that I get a small run somewhere on the bottom side.
Do you see any benefit to using the LC LM? I know its supposed to give some more color but does it really? Aren't most new printers all using only CMYK now?
I am wondering if its worth the extra complications and expense to run my 6 colors on a Prismjet Extra.
I did a couple prints using each and its VERY hard to see a difference.
Anyone else do it and have an opinion on it?
I think all I need to do it switch the profile from cmyklclm to cmyk in...
