  1. Laminate not applying evenly

Having trouble recently with the tension bar on laminator not sitting flat while laminating. The left and right end alternate in rising then falling which is leaving a slight wave/ripple effect in the end product. I assumed this would disappear after mounting the print with the manual laminator...

  9. Illustrator CC Slow Opening Files

Bought a new iMac earlier in the year with everything upgraded so that Illustrator and Photoshop will run at their best. Everything is fine except there's a 5-10 second wait every time I open a file in Illustrator. It will open but then after a few seconds the wheel thing starts spinning, very...
  10. Roland SP540V Not Printing Straight

Hi all, I rarely have a problem with my SP540V but just now it has suddenly started veering off to one side right at the end of a print. It has done it once before and came good, I don't think I did anything to fix it. Anybody know what's going on here? PS. Right at the end it printed off the...
  11. Applying gloss logo over full matte wrap

Hi all, I'm planning on fully wrapping my own vehicle in a matte laminated print and then applying my logo in the centre gloss laminated, over the top of the matte obviously. The area the logo is going is relatively flat, I'm just wondering if there are any issues here as far as shrinkage etc...
  12. Anybody seen this logo/clipart?

Hi All, I have to redraw this spanner for a plumbing logo. It looks like it's come from an old MS Office program or something like that. Does anybody know? It's already pixelated so it would be good to find the original.

  15. General Formulations Wrap Film

I've been using General Formulations products for most of my work and have been very happy with it. Just wondering if anybody has experience with their wrap films and whether they go as well as 3M, Avery etc? The cheaper price has made me wonder. Any help appreciated.
  16. Which Printer?

I'm looking at upgrading my Roland SP540V for something faster as I'm producing a lot of coroplast signs these days and it can't keep up. I'd prefer to stick with Roland but open to other suggestions. I'll probably go for 64 inch, it needs to contour cut as well, and have take up roller. I'd...

  18. Illustrator Highlighted Objects

I've somehow changed an Illustrator (CC) setting recently and now when an object is highlighted it has these bigger, different squares on the corners and mid points. Can somebody please tell me how to change it back to normal. Pretty sure I've tried everything in the menus. Thanks.
  19. Retractable Banners Leaning Forward

Hi All, I do a lot of retractable/pull-up banners and at times have trouble with them leaning forward when put up. I usually buy economy units which are great value and otherwise very reliable but I'm wondering if they're the problem or the way I'm setting them up. Any help appreciated.
