Cross train everyone. I try very hard to teach everyone in the shop to be able to fill in adaquatly for anyone else. No specializing. Learn everything. And get rid of the so-called graphic artist. Quick banner designs should take 10 to 15 minutes.
I got the 1324 about 6 months ago. Good solid printer this is my 3rd Mutoh and they keep getting better. I'm using Signlab for the rip-but unfortunately they haven't written new drivers to take advantage of the speed. I do like the auto cut-off. Print quality if awesome.
Hey Bigfish. I use a lot of perf. We mainly use clear focus. It's rated for 2 years and removes easily after a couple of years. We tried some of Proveer's Chinese crap, but it faded after less than a year and got brittle and had to be scraped off with a lot of elbow grease. How does your perf...
Thanks...I found it. Tougher to cover with tape. Slipped a piece of paper over it from the back side and taped it down. I wish they would let u turn off the sensor when you're printing on clear or perf with clear backing.
Any one know where the Mutoh 1324 media sensor is located. I'm trying to print some perf material with a clear backing and after about a foot it stops and tells me end of roll. The old 1204 had a sensor just behind the rollers that I would cover with tape when I had this problem.
Thanks!
Does anyone know if signlab has print drivers for the new ValueJet 1324? I was on their site and It only showed 1204 & 1604 drivers. I'm currenly have a 1204, but I'm trading it in for a 1324.
