We leave the macs on 24/7, just let them sleep at night, the rip PC is turned off and on each day!

we use convex 6mil vinyl and then a 12mil over lam.its the only combo we'd use. anything less gets ripped to shreads in 1 race, dont waste your money on thin stuff trust me! :)

We print a few posters every month for 1 customer,we use a satin paper that will last 3months outside un-laminated,it only costs about £1.60 per metre I think. The prints always come out nice to,we use a profile from the supplier.

It might be 'Minion Std Black' ?? Im not 100% tho!

to be fair its VERY minimal!...its mainly just a speed thing for us :)

high quality just passes more and it overlaps more...with getting the calibration correct the media passes through faster but still avoids banding....slightly less ink + FASTER production! i do think high quality is slow!

we used to print most things on high quality to,untill we had 3 days at the roland academy...........they go on alot about how fast you should be printing and taught us about 'media feed calibration'. Where you can slow down how much media is pulled through which helps stop banding, and it uses...
