I'll say this once again, I need the entire course drawn in vector format which is not the part I need help with. I want to be able to find the best angle of each hole ON THE COMPUTER SCREEN and am wondering the best software for displaying contours/hills/topography automatically rather than add...
Helicopter is out of the question for a variety of reasons, as is any type of boom or lift equipment, they won't go high enough and it is winter here. There's no way any golf club would allow them on the course anyway.
I need to draw the files, I have my way of drawing the files which I'm more...
On the left is an earlier one I did, I've since improved the trees, texture etc but want do show the contours/hills like the picture on the right.
Photos are not what I or the customer want and a lot of holes need to be shown with a few trees missing so the best angle can be shown. Therefore...
I have a GCC Jaguar, it performs brilliantly and the accuracy is perfect. Just make sure you get all the right drivers and support with it, I had trouble getting Flexisign to recognise it.
Punch is one of the ones I bought, I actually ended up buying their deluxe one after trying a few of their cheaper ones and they're all terrible for the reasons stated earlier. $270 down the drain for Deluxe.
Hello all, I'm making new tee signs for a golf club with a 3D drawing for each hole. I usually just use Illustrator but now want to show more detail for hills/contours etc. I looked into AutoCAD over the weekend which I learnt for a year while studying drafting but that was many years ago and I...
Textedit was the only thing I could open it with and there was no info in the header. I opened another working EPS file with it and there was info in the header as you said. Where to from here? Any ideas?
The following error messages come up:
ILLUSTRATOR
The file is in an unknown format and cannot be opened.
PREVIEW
Postscript Conversion Error
The PostScript file could not be converted to a PDF file.
Tried placing it in a blank Illustrator file but the same error message came up. I don't have...
Finally tracked down a logo I'd been trying hard to find but the sender could no longer open the EPS file and I can't either. Usually if something won't open in Illustrator (CC) I can figure out some way to open it in Preview (I'm on a Mac) and save it as a PDF but even that won't work. Any help...
PDF search was no good, mainly because Carlton never used this as their official logo. These cartoons appeared in a series of collector cards in the 1990s and I've seen this one used by several clubs. Most clubs are using an AFL club logo and I don't know how they get away with it.
Can any Australians help me with this? I need to redraw the Carlton FC logo for a local club who has supplied me with the image on the left. The right image is a tiny JPG I found online which is how I want it to appear. I've found vector files of older club logos before but can't find this...
No matter how I skew it I can't get the K to match the other letters, even doing them separately. Same problem with Helvetica, some letters are stretched wider than others so I'm thinking it has to be another font.
