I am a tried and true mac guy, so I am pleased to hear some positive feedback. Spending so much money, then having to buy a PC...c'mon! That is torture! Can you give me some specs on what your Mac is/are? I am running a Quad 3Gig with 14GB of ram on Leopard - Hoping that should be sufficient!

Actually, you have a few on the leading edge of the letters and most on the back side. Less is more - think about shinning a flashlight on the text - you will get "stars" on one side of the letter, unless the light source was directly in front of it, but your shadow implies differently.

Depending on when the head crashed - that is what the clicking is coming from - you will likely be able to get it recovered. If it broke in transport/not powered, then you will be OK, but if it broke while spinning, the chances of irreparable damage is greater. Also - decide the value of that...

Illustrator can do flags easily. Best part is, they are free!

If you are using illustrator, you can create your shape that you want then apply the following brush to it - http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm?event=extensionDetail&loc=en_us&extid=1045333 Better than anything else since you can make it do what you want.
