  2. use tax

jiarby is correct. If you have sign making related questions I think you're in the right place to get a correct answer from a sign making professional 99% of the time. You should seek out the advice of a tax professional for tax related questions. FWIW, I would never trust information that I...
  3. Bi or Uni???

That would depend on the RIP you are using.
  4. Bi or Uni???

Prints look better on any printer in uni-directional mode. Bi = printhead lays down ink as it moves in both directions. Uni = printhead lays down ink in only 1 direction.

  8. Fc 8000

Justaskjoe - My recommendation for someone in your situation is to buy from a local supplier. I would highly recommend Graphtec and Summa cutters. I think Jim Doggett would have recommended the Summa too up until last year. I bought my first cutter (a Roland) 11 years ago from Sign...

  15. which vinyl manufacturer is best or worst?

Oracal 651 is a very good calendared vinyl for straight cutting and Gerber Edge printing. Like Sign-man, I've been using it for 8-10 years. Dale, I think your accusation towards Sign-man was completely uncalled for. Perhaps the type of signs he produces doesn't warrant using a big squeegee...
