  1. My new site built on Wordpress

Lookin pretty good - my only advice would be that the white writing is quite hard on the eyes with the dotty background
  2. Missing profile message in Photoshop?

The best way to find out for yourself is to have a bit of a play. I did this a while ago with some gradients with say blue at one end and green at the other. Print it on your printer using each of the different colour spaces and you will be amazed at the results and will see the different...
  3. I need some constructive criticism on my website

I am on the same boat with what has been said above. It has amateur written all over it. I put myself in the shoes of a potential customer of yours while looking through your site and I would have been turned off very quickly. This may very well be the first impression that a client gets of...
  4. Small printer help...

In my experience you will struggle to get a printer that will do both photographic paper and vinyl well - within your budget anyway. I have a Roland SP300 and a few Canon and Epson wide formats. The aqueous Canons and Epsons are great for the photographic stuff and the Roland is great for vinyl...
  5. Need help choosing a printer...

There is also a Latex version of the HP coming out, cant remember the exact model number, but look into that - but you need to let us know what you are going to be doing with it first
  6. Epson 4800Pro Printer conversion from sublimation back to standard inks?

Should be fairly easy We have done it the other way, and it didnt take much - just a handful of power cleans did the trick.
  7. Intellectual Property and Copyright Theft In Our Industry.

Yeah we get this a lot too - have far to often had to deal with a grumpy client because I refused to print clearly copyright material - even when they have provided an alternative "I will get another one from google then" - also copyright. I think there is a strong need for education in the...
  8. Epson Stylus Pro 11880 for vinyl, banners etc?

Yeah really nice indoor printer, not at all suited for signage stuff though - they will be back

    What JHill said...
  10. Photoshop performing poorly. Help?

Ideally you will want a second 'internal' hdd which you will need to setup as your scratch disk. How much memory do you have? how many hard drives?
  11. SP300 stops printing

I would double check the usb cable, even try it from a different port - how long is the cable?
  12. wireless print server

I would think that you would have too many issues - you wouldnt want the signal to drop halfway through a big print - personally I would stay wired
  13. Looking for some help with flash.. Website work

I looked into this a while ago, but never actually got around to trying it..... This may be a good place to start (right down the bottom of the page) http://actionscript-blog.imaginationdev.com/

  17. USB help

Yep, I think I know your problem....happened to me a while back, and drove me nuts. What you need to do is unplug the power cable from your machine and leave it for 30mins - might pay to unplug all of your usb devices too. When you power back up it should be fine. What this apparently does is...
  18. Check this out!!

Also, the printers are not maintenance free, and if you are going to be using it/them for little volumes you will definitely not get a return on your investment
  19. Please help...prints are a bit to dark

For photos dont use relative colormetric - use perceptual, or you will most likely loose a lot of detail in the midtones. Also, I second what Flame and Mark said above
  20. dye sub anyone?

We have been dabbling in dyesub for about a year now, and have had mixed results. I am in the process now of converting an Epson 4800 and hope that I will have more luck with this printer. The first printer I used was an epson r290, and went through a couple of these getting it setup. I then...
