I'm using same print profiles as I always have with genuine Mimaki and other 3rd party inks so it shouldn't be those, I think it might be not enough solvent in the ink or something like that hence them not smelling like they usually do when printing.

I suppose, as I believe the height of the cap is adjustable, if it is high it will go further one way when raised up as the head presses on the black plastic that raises it, and if it's low it would effectively move it the other way?
