Ok, I understand that, so did you replace your printhead yourself and do all the alignment and calibration of both axes? And did it all work out in the end? I have read horror stories of people trying to do their own printhead replacement and blowing fuses and or the new printhead.

The dx4 head is NOT made by Roland, it's made by Epson, at least the ones made in Japan, and when you purchase through Roland they warranty them, when you purchase 3rd party form China you really don't know what you get and there is NO warranty.
