That seems like overkill for though... I do them for acrylic prints and full window coverage and essentially, if you print with the same profile you would for a white vinyl, the color should be exactly the same when backed with the white... maybe try a different profile?
Nice install... personally hate these style of wraps but to each their own. I really don't like how "muddy girl" is also repeating... Was it easy to work with?
initially you said 1/16th thick. You could cut those signs separately. but if it is .5" harbor sales has a material called Colorcore that you could get someone with a router to cut out.
I would want to see the access before doing anything. And know what is behind the wall. There are certain fasteners you have to use and certain fasteners and covers you have to use to make everything up to code. If you can talk to someone who manufacturs them that would be your best bet. I know...
we had a L260 but have upgraded to a L360. We just use one of the canned profiles. I don't do a ton of backlit so I never found the need to make a new profile or anything. Just generic with something like 200 ink density. they seem to look pretty good.
Avery has a gloss one and 3M has a satin one. Both look awesome. oracal has one called nacre metallic. I am sure hexis has one but I don't have a swatch book from them.
Not anything special. I just use the generic vinyl that came stock with the printer, I think. Or the stock HP premium vinyl profile. When I print on 651 it is usually a magnet or coro sign and all I really care about is if it is cured. But those seem to work pretty good.
why 3M? If you are using 751, just print on that. I use to print 651/751, really any cut vinyl with my 260, and still do with my 360. If you need 3m, i'd go with electrocut as previously stated.
UFS Explorer. I have the one specific to RAID. I mean, I recovered 95%. The "O" folder wasn't recovered, but we have a backup so no big deal. You have to copy all the drives and build a raid on your computer after hooking them up using the software. Use copies so you dont fudge the real drives...
Ive recovered bad hard drives myself. Sometimes you can sometimes you cant. Our network here is RAID5 and 1 drive went out. We sent to a company and they recovered everything up to the day. If I had known how to use the software I would have done it myself. We backup everything ourselves though...
I can explain it faster. i fold the edge about an inch so its not tacky. Then while the laminator is still open, i just feed it through by hand. On the other side, i stick it to the metal part of the laminator, maybe 4 or 5 inches past the rolls and make sure it is even and flat. Then I lower...
That handheld thing is good for 15" & 24". I guess it would be ok for 30" as well, but 48" gets put through the laminator, here at least. I like it for 15"/24" because i can mask stuff off really fast when I am by myself (90% of the time). Just like you said, start a couple inches before the...
