I love my Mimaki, it's a workhorse. I currently run OEM ES3 inks, i love/hate them and will eventually swap to a ss21 or equivalent third party ink. Only good thing I hear is, the ES3 is a lot better for our print heads.

Get better vinyl. Let it dry 24 hours and then laminate with good laminate. then cut. If you use cast vinyl and crappy calendared laminate, its going to curl. If you use cast laminate and cheap vinyl, its going to curl. How long do these need to last? You might be able to get away with...
