This pic I am posting is 3M 7725. I have cut literally thousands of these over the last 8 years or so. They are for a Key drop box for a major car rental company. The upper case are just under 3/8" and the lower case is 1/4". I originally used Gerber 220 Sandstone with a paper back and the...
This is what I use for very small and thin lettering. I will warn you that you should be using high tac premask as that stuff can be very finicky as far as getting the release liner to release. I too ran everyhting on my old Graphtec but recently purchased a new Summa T series 140 with the...
I suppose I could have but in the end I used the auto mark lam. It is a polymeric adhesive where as I think the cheaper 3ml lam is a monomeric. better safe than sorry...the guy is getting a great deal
I accidentaly printed bin decals (12" x 16" x50) using General Formulations Auto mark wrap material. Should have been regular 3ml film. The Auto mark is a 2.8 calendered product and I was wondering if it would be OK to use a regular 3ml calendered laminate, or do I have to continue with...
Yes this is true about ND and my sale person has left so I have to be careful to ask pricing before ordering..case in point 36 yard banner tape was $19 about a year ago or less and now it is $29.00.. The stuff is really good so I have to keep buying it.
I think this guy has bi polar issues. The guy gave you a %$#$ tip!!! 1/64th of an inch? seriously? Something wrong with the guy. Not sure what I would do in this situation.
I usually let them go once they are done if I have to. I can only think on cold wintery days, maybe a complex logo that needed to be put down wet would need time to dry, but only an hour or two. Never have had any customers return with any issues, so it must be OK.
If memory serves on 1 card there was a red or orange conector that seemed loose on mine , so I just gave it a bit of a nudge to make sure it was seated properly...can't say for sure if it worked but the beeping stopped and I could continue working on the printer.
I sometimes get the beeping sound and it won't print at all, but found that not only re seating the cards worked but also ( ground yourself) I pushed any items on the cards that looked plugged in and sometimes that solved the problem as well.
The cost of 2ml wrap material with laminate is about $2.00 a sq ft ( Canada) That also does not include all the waste as you can't print 54"...so maybe it works out to 2.10 a sq ft at most.... Then you have ink and God forbid something go wrong during the print (which you know will on a job...
MY version 8 sometimes changes the colours, but not always. Have never really figured out why it happens, but I also run Flexi so I send files across the network and do what I need in there. It seems to like to change white backgrounds to yellow quite a bit too
Went out this morning to pick up some ACM and saw these two vehicles on my short journey. The First pic had to be done by the owner himself or someone very green. Not sure you can see it in the pic but the lettering was put over the window cutouts and they are resting right over the grooves...
I have looked everywhere but just can't seem to find out how to get rid of the canvas or sign blank. I never had it on the older version and sometimes it just gets in the way. I probably don't know what they call it to find a menu item to turn it off. Any idea?
