Go ahead with that test install; sounds like it has horizontal corrugations... And let me know how soon you decide that you're installing a piece of flat polymetal onto it.
FWIW, you could just take a piece of tape and go over 1 corrugation tip to tip and measure the length (stretched back out)...
I need to purchase some Black Aluminum Snap Edge Frame Material.
I contacted & quoted through Outwater Industries, and they said they had plenty on-hand in stock.
I placed an order last week for 34 qty 8ft sticks (and all hardware) so I can make 30 qty frames.
Received a call today that they...
We tried and tried printing magnets for one of our largest customers, and the biggest challenges we eventually ran into were the weight of the roll, and the quality of the material.
Even when you printed smaller rolls there was always quality issues with the surface coating.
Eventually we came...
No, the values within the one condition only (none of the rest) were completely changed to other values.
After we went in and changed them back to what they were supposed to be for that condition everything has been fine again since then.
It isn't even doing that much. The settings are to use what the Graphtec is set to "currently" when each roll is loaded onto each plotter.
As they load the rolls on the plotters and put them on the take-up reels and find the first barcode they check to verify that the correct condition is...
Yes, we have 6 different conditions that we use here, and they're all set up the same on all of our Graphtec plotters.
They all stay the same and no one would ever have a reason to mess with them.
The only 3 employees who messed with it on Wednesday/Monday all wouldn't have changed the settings...
We have been running our Graphtec FC9000 plotters for a while now, and when they're working great everyone loves them, but every now and then they just seem to do wacky stuff...
Today we noticed that everything we plotted on one of them yesterday wasn't cut deep enough (not cut at all) and...
Another very important point to mention when printing these old Pantone charts that used to come with the RIP software is that they were built using very old color values and software (2017 mentioned above). If you are going to print them off for useful reference, you need to open the file you...
Might as well part it out to the major expensive components on ebay. Otherwise, good luck finding someone who knows about them to take it in as a donation. If they don't know how to maintain it, have a rip to run it, etc, it'll go bad and then end up in the dumpster in a couple months.
We couldn't see any real advantage of upgrading from regular Onyx to Thrive at our place unless we added a lot more printers.
We have three printers currently printing through Onyx, and subscribe to the Onyx Advantage yearly plan for unlimited upgrades as they roll out.
Have a customer looking for what I describe as freestanding (mounted atop a retaining wall) lighted channel letters, around 4' high letters.
Kind of similar to attached image. Would like to buy from US vendor, the closer to Cincinnati, OH the better.
Sounds more like poor dealer support/assistance with your problem. We have a GREAT local dealer who we buy our large format equipment through. (Trigon Imaging) Whenever we have an issue a quick call to them results in a quick call back or tech out from either them or the manufacturer. Purchasing...
Save the shape of your cutpath as a filled object, not a stroked object.
If you absolutely HAVE to save it as a stroke, then set it to .125 pt stroke width and it should only cut one path.
