We have the photoprint Mutoh edition that we are currently using with our Mutoh Falcon Jr. We were just wondering if it would work with other brands of printers like roland as well?

We replaced the fuse and got the black printing now so everything is printing. Now our problem is getting everything lined back up again for some reason. In the book we got it lined up like it showed but the black is off from left to right. Is there a way to line that up?

We did a test print and its printing color now but not black. Were going to try the same thing with the black even though it was putting ink into the waste tank. If that doesn't work hopefully we can figure something else out!

We just put the head over the capping station and attached a syringe to the color hose from the capping station. We were able to get every line to fill up with ink and flow into the syringe. The black isnt printing at all but it had ink going into the waste tank.

It just started to print a little bit of cyan. For some reason its like the yellow and magenta lines wont hold ink though. We can suck the ink to the dampers but when we go to print it drains out of the lines. The ink pump and the capping station were brand new.

Thanks for all the help. We had the black lined up and then it stated to just print bad quality and now it wont print black or color at all. We had the machine unplugged every time we were working on it. We just have nothing left to try and cant keep putting money into it.

Heres 2 close up pictures from the file. It printed a little better. We took off the cyan damper and noticed that it looked like there was dried ink in there somehow. We replaced it with a different one we had and it was printing the green better but there was still noticeable banding. Im not...

We knew that the black head needed some adjusting, we just havent done that yet. We will go ahead and do the cleaning and soaking and see if that helps. We are using substance vinyl and the front heater is set at 49 celsius and the fixed heater is set at 55 celsius

Here is the picture of the nozzle check. For some reason its just the blues and greens that arent printing correctly. They have lines going through them and the quality just isnt very good.

I know there is a date on the cartridges but does it effect the printing at all using an ink cartridge that is past the date?

Yes, I do know that. I was asking about the reset before we got it to print color. Now that we got it to print we need to get everything printing correctly. Weve looked in the manual but the way its worded you cant understand half of it. We think we need to try and get the head tilt?

We just replaced the heads on our falcon and got ink through the lines and into the dampers. When we go to print now for some reason all it does is print black lines and prints no colors. Do we need to set head rank and other things before we can get it to print correctly?
