We were looking at a used DC3 Plus and I had a question about it. I read that someone said it only accepts 40" media. They made it sound like you cant use a 30" or 36" roll of vinyl in the machine. Is this correct?

The rear heater is at 55 and the front is at 48. We need the colors to be crisp because they are for graphics for dirt bikes, atvs, etc... I attached a few pictures up close of the green and the dark blue.

We tried it on both the substance and the prism jet vinyl and both had banding. Our problem is that when we use the substance vinyl the colors need to be good because the graphics are seen up close. Is there something in the rip we should try and adjust to get a better print.

We got the yellow working now but for some reason we have no magenta. We made sure that there was ink in the line and sucked ink through the damper with a syringe. Would you know any reason why this is happening. It seems thats all that is stopping it from working correctly.

We just ran into another problem. We went to print and for some reason the colors were messed up. In the picture the dark red would usually be bright red and the green would be yellow. We took a look at the damper and somehow the yellow damper is green. Would you have any idea how this happened?

Right now we really have no idea how to create profiles. Right now were using two types of vinyl: Substance and the prismjet vinyl. Were having troubles with the prismjet vinyl the most. Would you be able to send us one of the profiles you are using and we will try it out. We really appreciate it!

For some reason when we put in a value and hit enter like the book says to do it doesn't save the value it just goes back to the original. Is there something we need to do for it to keep the value.

We just picked up an SC-500 for a great price and had some questions about it. The printer has a heater on it and says it uses SOL ink. Would this be able to print onto uncoated vinyl or is there something else we would need to do for it to be able to?

Now for my next question. We found a guy who has a Roland Soljet 64 and its extremely cheap. Would you happen to know a price of about what it would be worth in non working condition. To sell for just parts or as is?
