i use durafos solvent ink ... its a good ink so far .. deff dont think is the head going because one day it test printed perfict hours later bamm it look like tha only on one channel . i also have a post about this i beleive artbot gave some imput on data swap to rule out the head and i did rule...

remove and reinstall the carts when the machine is powered down.

try powering down the machine unpluging it turnthe power on in the front to draing any remaining power in the maching. put the new carts in boot it back up .. hopefully that will solve the issue.

not sure as to how old the head is.... mabe 3 to 4 yrs and for it to drop out like that is really weird expecially the next day ...i might have to go with bad bach of ink .....but im still not sure

mike, i tried all the options that u said with no improvement when i swap the cables it will not print anything for a test draw .. the cables are seated and i checked and reseated them .. i went from fine to what the pic is in one day never sean a head go like that before in a day any othre...

im running bulk and it brand new system and ink havent had a problem but i can see your point but its the same ink ink in the other side also wouldent there be a problem there to?... so what do i do about that issue now scince i have a full bulk load ? thnaks

i will post pictures but heres my issue. the right side of the black head prints perfict. theleft side its all there but its seams thicker and fuzzy. so i took my damper off and flushed it clean then i pushed cleaning solution threw the head on that channel....now it still doing the same thing...

Well i just changed 2 heads myself and from my understanding you need to make sure the first time you set the head cables that there perfict no tilt to them at all . but you could have knocked something loose on the slider board but i wouldent think that it would cause an problem with the main...

this is from the matiance manual also if you computer goes into sleep mode or hibernation this will cause it to cause this error make sure that your computers your using do not hibernate in any way . i had that happen to me just go into power settings and select to never. ERROR20 I/F BOARD...

i have the same problem with my jv3 160sp and it seems like when you do to many operstions at one time or out of order like if your in a hury it happens . i turn it off and back on and its fine . stoped rushing and doing things out of order hasent happened agian
