    meh.....i laughed at the trailer but....as always they put all the best/funniest things in the trailer to try and capture the audience's attention. you can't remake stuff like the 3 stooges/laurel and hardy etc etc, just can't be done.

    heres a few tips on perf that i've learnt over the years. make sure you store your perf in a controlled enviroment, temp/humidity. if you can keep the material in the same area your printer is in as most people have a controlled enviroment for there machines(that goes for all materials, but...

    lesson learnt i hope......don't buy your materials of some random guy on ebay! you'll never know how old the stuff is, how its been handled, maybe even a non name brand. buy from a reputable supplier or mm on signs101.

    with our roland i always unwind the banner at the back so its not tugging on the banner any, as banner tends to be heavy.

    you can print full bleed to the edge on phototex, do it all the time. never any curl or any type of problems with it. prints and looks great. we always get compliments on the stuff.

    if it was cold laminated it will have silvering for a few days...then it will disappear(or should anyways).

    try phoning up the techs from roland. have spoke to them a few times, and have been walked through any problems i've had. some are more helpfull than others, but non the less, they'll sort out any problems you have.
