Yea...what's more strange is the changes in calibration effect the Test Print, but not the actual graphic print? How does that work?

So, weird results here....see attached photos of the version and adjustment made to the Calibration. Nothing seems to change? From -2.00 all the way to +1.90...no change.

I mostly have print and dryer at 50, and it's definitely hot (physically). Trying another print now with the feed a bit tighter.

Also, I just did a little hunt for the specific Arlon profile for this media on the 540v, and tried it....it prints real bad lol. I'd say even worse than my originals on Generic Vinyl II.

I've tried heat settings from 0 to mid 40s to 50 (normally what its at) and all seems relatively the same.

Just tried SG-G. I think I do like the way it looks better. I tried with the default 700 head speed (#1) and then 500 head speed (#2). The 500 seems to clean up the black edges a bit, but otherwise not too much of a difference. There is still some banding, in both, but the result is "tigther"...

On that Soutpoint logo these are what my quality settings are. I've almost always used Generic Vinyl II. I'll try the SG-G in a couple minutes, just running a cut right now.

Oh nice! I use Arlon-DPF4500GLX as my main white gloss adhesive stock.

I have looked at buying new heads, found them on digiprint: https://us.digiprint-supplies.com/en/epson-dx4-solvent-pphep10so Have never bought from there though. Being in canada we're limited on our suppliers that carry this stuff. Is there anything profile wise you'd suggest?

Update: Did a headsoak for the weekend. My nozzles didn't improve, but to note, they've also been the exact same since I've owned this printer (3 years), and I've never had a head strike in my possession. With the nozzle prints looking the exact same my prints never used to look like this, so...

Yes, cleaned regularly! That one always needs a good cleaning thats for sure. I'm going to do a weekend soak I think and see how it goes.

Yea, I haven't done a head soak in a long time. Could probably use an extended one. I have cleaned everything quite thoroughly, including wipers, bottom of the head etc, and keep the entire machine quite clean in all areas.

100% have had zero bad head strikes while I've owned it. The closest my heads (with this specific printer in my ownership) have been a few rubs on the material mid print that barely even touched. But that's also to note that my prints, black only, have started to have these lines only recently...
