I'm certainly no expert on this but the first thing I thought was somebody may have drawn these freehand and then cut them with a jigsaw or something. It doesn't really look like a font does it? The letters don't seem to go together.
I did this eight years ago with acrylic paint and the paint is still as good as new, the awnings have had it though. I made a stencil from regular sign vinyl but cut the letters 1mm inside then applied high tack application tape and stuck it on the awning and left the application tape on. I...
Hi Neil, just wondering what the difference is between MPI 2923 and MPI 2903, do you know? It's gloss instead of matte but I'm not sure if that's the only difference and if it's the same quality etc.
Haha Foster's was probably my preferred option because the drum is blue and the top will be showing. I didn't think anybody here would've heard of it though.
It's just for at home. A plastic drum I use for ice baths but it looks a bit untidy so I thought I should just wrap it with something. Would rather the vector art if it's available rather than a scan, could redraw it but would take a while.
Hi All, I'm wanting to wrap a 44 gallon drum to look like a Jack Daniel's can, or some other type of can. Wondering if anybody knows where I can find artwork for this type of thing. A photo is attached of something similar.
Thanks but I'd prefer something debris-free if possible rather than a panel saw. Is there anything similar to the wall mounted cutters that cut horizontally to do longer cuts?
Looking at buying a wall mounted cutter such as the Fletcher FSC but from what I can gather it can only cut 65". Does anybody know of something similar that will make 8' or 12' cuts? I don't have a great deal of space so a vertical cutter would suit best.
Thanks for the advice. The Avery vinyl sounds perfect, I've always used Avery 700 for cut vinyl and been happy with it but haven't used any of their print vinyl. I'll be giving it a try.
Hi all, I'm after advice on digital vinyl. I've been printing most of my work for two years on various types of vinyl but after seeing a few of my earlier signs recently I've decided I need a change. I've mainly used General Formulations Concept 701 but it doesn't stick hard enough. I knew it...
I've been laminating most of my prints with UVM matte laminate film for two years. I'm not sure who makes it as it's sold be several suppliers under different names. I've always preferred it because it has a texture that prevents scratches when applied with a squeegee and it also gives a great...
